Lithographic edition. Fuzuli's treatment of the popular tale of Leyla and Majnun (Qais), the "Romeo and Julia" of Persian literature, is the author's best-known work and a classic of Turkish poetry.

The scribe identifies himself at the end as "'Askar ibn Husayn Bik"; his origin in the West Persian/Azerbaijan area suggests Tabriz as possible place of printing.

Binding slightly loosened near beginning; spine-ends damaged.
